Ok everyone. I am 7wks post op & 31lbs down. Can't see any difference.

I was banded 3 days before you, and down 24lbs. I feel like too, bc I'm losing the weight- and I don't see it as much- but you can honestly tell in your pics...esp. the side pic- your tshirt doesn't stick out nearly as much! Congrats on your surgery, and best of luck! -

no- it wasn't as bad as the expression on my face makes it seem- I had just woken up out of anesthesia, and was really groggy.

I totally know what you're going through. I was banded last monday (8/17), and experienced a lot of discomfort around the port site. If it's too much pain for you to bear, call your surgeon, or you may be over doing it, or not doing enough. By my second day after surgery- i walked over an hr with my mom and son. The quicker you get moving around, it should ease some. If not, like I said contact your surgeon, and express your concerns. Hopefully that was able to help some. Good luck!
