I also have the Realize Band... It's only been a week but I am glad I have it. I don't find the website to useful though... I doubt I will use it. I am having trouble sleeping... I hate sleeping on my back. Is it going to do any damage sleeping on my side or stomach? -

I lost 19lbs during my OptiFast and 14 more so far since being banded... which was five days ago. So a total of 33. Everyone is different though, don't get discouraged if you don't lose as much as others and welcome to the family! -
Did you cheat on pre-op liquid diet

I am half way through my two week OPTIFAST diet. I must say it is brutal. Not from hunger pains so much, but from the "side effects". I have not yet cheated... I did try to have a Dora the Explorer ice pop yesterday and my wife somehow overpowered me and took it away and said I could not have it because it had sugar. She's such a dictator. But I am glad she stopped me. I do not plan to cheat, I really want this surgery to go well.
