Had my band 3 years ago and have never looked back..
It's strange but people always used to say i needed to lose weight (as they shovelled food onto my plate) and now they actually say..oh dont lose anymore you will look too thin.(as i shovell food back at them)..jeez you cant win with some people but only i know how i feel and i still see that fat guy in the mirror but i just dont fit into his clothes anymore....
I have always been open about my surgery and encourage people when asked to have it done as long as you know its still not easy but its a heck of a hands up to help ya..
Mr Super was my surgeon at the Heartlands Hospital in Birmingham,England..Fantastic guy who has given me a new lease of life and i will i'm sure i will live a longer life thanks to him.
