i use hotmail for my email, because i never have to change it. if i move, change providers, etc it still is the same. yes, i can use an email with our own domain name, but if that ever goes defunct then have to change . i cannot keep track of my dad's email, as they keep changing providers. was aol, then earthling, then embarq, now something else. drives me nucking futz!

how did everyone survive the storms last night? i heard an Arby's on 291 s of the river was leveled. glad it wasn't burger king! i haven't been out yet, but fox4 said 291 between 35 and 435 is impassable due to downed power lines and debris. i will have to alter my path to work.

ive had 3 fills. i'm at a plateau, but mostly because ive been eating things i shouldn't, like ice cream. i'm going to try harder to resist those temptations.

i consider myself lucky. i have a fairly easy job, get paid well, and have awesome benefits. i was a c-store manager for about 20 yrs. now, instead of stressing about people not showing up for work, worrying about theft, working 70-80 hrs a week i work 40 hrs a week, currently 4 10 hr shift, and i sit and answer phones and help people with the credit card accounts. last night was slow...sometimes 5 minutes between calls.

i like this thread, too...was surprised to see more than a day without a post. maybe more people should post just to post
