  3. My weight loss has slow down TREMENDOUSLY.. i started out at 296 almost 4 months ago (June 3) and now ive been sitting at 245 for awhile.. im really getting dwn i havent changed what i was eating much and i work out 4 times a week (although i did stop for 2 wks) I called my doctor and sch a fill, hope that works.. just venting.. =/

  6. HEY ALL... I just turned 21 years old.. and i was banded June 3, 2009... this process has been fairly easy.. the first 3 days i was in pain and EXTREMELY bloated.. but i was back to normal activity the next week.. ( although my parents wouldnt let me drive.. lol) Since surgery I am down 45lbs... i think i am doin fairly well.. feel free to add me :w00t:
  7. I was banded June 3 of this year.. and im down 40 lbs.. im EXTREMELY satisfied with my weight loss.. so im def with @Jachut in saying this is a life style change.. so i eat everything i want.. just in moderation and i choose healthier foods.. i work 3 to 4 times a week doing mostly cardio.. I wish ur much sucess
  8. Thanks guys.. Im doing so much better.. i just need to get back in the gym  Restless Monkey as strange as this may sound im not sure how big my band is.. eek.. Im going to call my doctor and set up appointment to see if i can get another fill.. :wink2:
  9. No im like 7 weeks post op.. so i can eat the regular diet, i just feel like i REALLY fell off the bandwagon.. but im motivated now.. Im fine.. Im just worried that my fill isnt working.. i feel some pressure, but no restriction.. I can eat a whole chicken breast.. what i was asking is, if i drink with my meals does that hinder the restriction?
  10. I was banded June 03,2009 and my 21st bday was on July 6th, it was A BLAST.. but ultimately not good for my band.. Not only did i eat everything NOT good for me(chips, fried foods, cake etc...).. I ate and drank at the same time.. Drank alcohol (granted not that much) and i just cant seem to get my self back on track since.. On July 8th i went to the doctor and got a fill (4cc) and got test ran which the fill is obsolete if u eat and drink at the same time.RIGHT? Because in the mist of all my eating and what not i really didnt feel any resriction or any pressure... and def no vomiting.. I guess i just wanted to vent and ask... am i a total lost?.. Ive lost 30lbs prior to my screw up but im sure ive gained some back these past 2 wks. Let me know guys.. :scared2:
  11. Im about 7 weeks post op and i took a flite to Cali for my birthday (im from Texas) i just recently got my first fill.. The flite for me was really uncomfortable and i had ALOT of gas afterwards. so i would say be careful

  14. Im 3 wks post op, and im eating lean meats (chicken, fish, ground meat) and ALOT of tuna and chicken salad. Im also eating soft cooked veggies (carrots, green beans, spinach) My dr. told me to stay away from raw veggies and fruits, corn, peas. etc.. oh yea and you can have egg whites and toast and crackers. U can actually have alot.. but this is just the list my nutrients/doctor gave me.. Hope that helps
  15. Thank you guys so much.. Very helpful.. Im def going to call for a appointment.
  16. My surgery was 06/03 and the first couple of days i didn’t have much of an appetite but as the week progressed i acquired the want for mashed potatoes (which my nutrients said was fine) than it grew to wanted some cheese in them.. Which I THOUGHT was also fine. I really wish that was the worst part, 2 days ago i grew weak an went to chickfila I ate 5 chicken nuggets and a couple of fries.. of course i felt full very quickly as well as a lil ill, do you think i messed up anything internally? I have been slightly constipated since, but i took some benefiber (which was suggested by my doctor for the 2nd week of the liquid diet) and i feel fine. My stomach is a lil swollen, but it has been like that since the surgery. I also think i messed up AGAIN today by eating broccoli and cheese soup, which i read today in my post op diet book (after the fact) isn’t good for me either. I did SO WELL on my pre- op diet, i just feel horrible. i was TRUELY dedicated to this 6 months prior.. I feel like an idiot.. Am i totally screwed.. I go into see my doctor Wed. (6/17) On a lighter note.. I am down 30lbs!!
  17. Im very excited about my surgery, im ready to begin the rest of my life. This has been a long process (6 months), and im ready to feel lighter, healthier and lets be real.. HOT!! Im having my surgery in Dallas, Tx but Dr. Nickelson. Kinda nervous about the post op feeling, since its my first surgery and first time going under. But still READYYYYY!!!
