Dr Jessee is my surgeon. I don't know about the spider incision. I had my surgery in 2008 and a repair in 2011. I find her staff helpful and Very friendly. All around good experience with them. I didn't have to do a supervised diet, however. I had years of back up medical records! Lost 100 lbs after surgery. Gained back 12 (which happens) and I'm working on shedding that.

ahb08 when did 175 lbs become a size 12? The last time I was at my ideal weight (centuries ago) I just managed at size 12 at 130 lbs. I wore a size 14 at weight 150 lbs. Have women's sizes changed their numbers but not their inches?

when was your last fill? I had back pain problems 2 months ago (surg 8/08), same type pain, same area. Come to find that I had been "overfilled" accidentally because the band hadn't been completely emptied the fill before. What we thought was 6.6 ml was 7.3! I had to have an unfill and felt better in a day.

My surgeon told me that it would take 2-3 months for my body to feel "normal" The muscles have been outraged by being cut and they will give you hitches for weeks. I didn't have trouble with gas but the upper chest and shoulders hurt for some time because the surgeory requires your abdomen being inflated. I have trouble with gas now, it's how my body has chosen to react to my eating too fast or too big. I think I may be reaching my mazimum fill point since I can feel even the smallest abount. Last fill was .2cc's and I am still getting used to it 3 weeks later. So just keep on truckin' along. It all takes time. alfuso
