I am 6 days post opp today and I was wandering How you guys did with the incisions? I had tape on top of it and today on the shower one came off (with my help). Should I cleaning it whit alcohol or something or cover it again? how should it look like? I had 2 incisions and this is the small one I don't want to imagine the big one.

I have a question for all post opp. what is your lever of hunger after surgery? From day one to week 1 o 2 ? I am on my 4 day of liquid diet and I am hungry now. Just wondering how the liquid diet after the surgery goes.

Hello All, Today is my second day of pre-opp diet. It's hard but I am handing there. I work in the restaurant business around food all day and good food but still I did not cheat. Also self pay and I don't want to mess it up. The bad thing is I have a giant headaches maybe is because I am not consuming any food, It is normal?

Hello, my surgery is in 10 days I am about to start the liquid diet, getting really nervous and emotional for everything. Today I snap on my work for something that was not a dig deal. I got to go outside to avoid yelling at everybody... I am really calm and I work well under stress but today i was a different me... I hope this count down goes fast and I can start my new life. I glad I found this group. I am exited to be part of the bandsters =)

(Alli)I not sure how healthy I am but I do have Fatty liver disease and PCOS and one of the causes or factor to this is being overweight and It'll get worse with the time. (Kdee) It's very true what your mentor told you. I am paying a car that is worth same as the surgery. I know this not the easy way but and I very determined person I hope I can do good as you guys. How you guys did on the pre-op diet? and how soon did you feel good? ( I don't like being sick)

I having my surgery on jun 26Th. I am self paid because my insurance does not cover it. I have to pay 16.000 by jun 5Th. I m not rich, all my and my husband saving are going there. I know the surgery is good for me but the date is coming and all the doubts too. Should I do it. Am i selfish because I spend all this money on me? My wonderful husband support me a lot but my question is It is worth spend all this money? So confusing. I have conversations about fair or the surgery and stuff but I will like to know self paid people are handling this. I love this site because I did not share this journal with a lot of people.

I am jun 26Th also self pay. It's fast I know I started the process 6 months ago and is almost here. I not doing that good with the changes and diet. I lost only 4 pounds just with exercise I will stared the diet next year..jajaja. Good luck!!!

My insurance doesn't cover the surgery. I was looking others options, somebody told me some doctors offices ofers payments options or self payment programs. I was looking one of those in Virginia on hamptom area or north of Virginia It is others ways to paid the surgery?
