  1. Your fine aetna don't check and see if you went to the gym they just want to see a statement showing your weight i actually gained weight
  2. Well i told them that i have been over weight for 5 years and i submitted pictures with dates on them along with the beginning and end of the year doctor statements that i had for the years i submitted along with some ranting I'll take you to court things like that lol

  5. Ok so Aetna just denied me for lap band surgery they said because my bmi wasnt over 40 for the last two yes which is a lie i didnt have insurance for 2007 so i dont have proof any suggestions.
  6. Im right with i Have Aetna every time i call they say it pending so what i did was have what i like to call a bitch fit lol ask for supervisor and now im getting processed by the admin. you have to demand an update or it will take forever.

  9. I heard about the picture thing and i asked my doctor he said they fax the paperwork over and they never sent a picture so that the reason i didnt submit the picture.:ohmy:I wish i would have push it more.
  10. Hi everyone im new to lapbandtalk.com my name is Angel. Ok so i just finished my six month diet, and all of Aetna requirement but their only one problem they want a two year weight history i didnt have insurance in 2007 so i didnt go to the doctor i have no record of my weight that year. well i know it was above 40 bmi but i dont have proof. But i do have 2005,06,08, and 09 records all over 40bmi do you think they will approve me or will this be a problem please help, im stressing out here.:grouphug:
