  1. I've been eating lots of chicken breast either grilled or cooked in a pan with a little oloive oil spray. Perdue breasts in the individually sealed bags. I will sometimes add a splash of low sodium teriyaki sause for flavor. There is also no sugar ketchup out there by Heinz for flavor too. At times I will cut it up and add it to a salad or just eat the breast with a side of potatoes. I also make 99% fat free ground turkey. I eat egg beaters for breakfast with naturally slender cheese melted into them. I had my surgery on 6/23. Chicken has been my main food. I'm down 60lbs. now. Eat lots of protein (even though it's hard to do) it will help you lose weight. I drink a GNC Protein shake (Whey Powder) daily to get about 40 grams of protein in me between meals.
  2. I'm two weeks post op with a mass above my port. My doctor is going to CAT scan on Monday to see if it is a hernia. No pain, but I'm concerned about the mass.
  3. Has anyone experienced a post-op hernia under your incision? I have a swollen, firm mass under my large incision. It does not hurt. I am going to get a CAT scan to check it out. I'm 2 weeks post op. Anyone else experience something similar?
  4. I have a sort of swelling (hard firm) bulge under my large incision. I am going for a CAT scan to make sure it is not a hernia.
