  5. Thank you so very much for taking the time to elaborate. Im scheduled to have my revision on November 5th so my mind is made up.. I just wanted to hear some success stories so that I can get my mindset. Im just a jaded lapbander and want to get it right the second time around.

  7. I'm reading various posts of people who have lost very little weight and how slowly it comes off. I know that having a desensitized esophagus has a lot to do with being able to eat more.. Any thoughts
  8. Just wanted to ask to see if anyone had issues with infections.or any type of complication
  9. So almost 3 years to the date of having my lapband I'm exited but nervous I'm new on this forum I used to post regularly on lapbandtalk so you will be hearing from me on here. I had loads of issues with my band and port. Initially I lost 50 lbs gained it all back so now I'm starting all over again.. Looking forward to not having a port..
  10. Totally normal bodies respond differntly to anesthesia and a belt being strapped around your stomach. Ask your doc for anitnausea meds. Take small sips and take it easy it will get better as the days go by.
  11. okay so this might be a little extreme there are some birth control pills that actually dry you up a little as a side effect might want to try that. OrthoTricylen Lo did that to me so i had to switch it up since i already have issues with being dry. How about keeping a towel handy and whiping down a little before they actually penetrate you. That also works you know.
  12. Stay hydrated and if you cant eat during the day drink. do a protein shake but dont try to shove food down your stoma which is irritated from you vomiting so often.
  13. Ok so havent been on here in a while. I have 800cc implants and they are holding up ok no sag lolz. have about 25 more lbs to goal will keep you updated.
  14. make a smoothies fruits berries and add the protein powder in it i normally dump it in my green smoothies and it works. You can also add it to coffee and make a mocha with sf chocolate syrup
  15. thats called acid reflux hun. sounds like you might have significant sweling from your procedure did you have your band emptied for surgery? This type of reflux can be dangerous because it can lead to phnemonia if you aspirate that stuff while you sleep.
  16. lapband patients dont suffer from dumping syndrome. You might want to get your blood pressure and blood sugars checked in order to make sure thats all in order. Also if you are taking meds with weight loss they might have to be adjusted.
  17. NikeStore. Shop the Official Nike Store for Shoes, Clothing & Gear these are my favorite running tights..
  18. ok so im not going to tell you why this is a bad idea im sure you must have some sort of medical trainiing if you even attempted this lol. good luck hun keep those fingers crossed that you dont get infected and yes those needles are not reusable. They need to be sterile.
  19. just so that you know when you are preggers your hair does not shed at all so when you give birth using anestetic or not the hormonal shift makes your hair fall out.
