I was banded June 5th by Dr. Hollis in Houston and it has been nothing but a life saver! I started out at 301, in a 44 waist jeans moving to at 46 and looking for velcro shoes! As of today, i have had 3 fills. I started out with 4cc in a 10cc band and now at 6.7cc. The only thing's that give me issues are bread and dry meat... anything else goes done. How I got so lucky and have had no issue with eating food or things i don't know, but this thing works. I am now at 238 and 38 jeans. Dr. Hollis is a life saver!

Try prune juice. Go to Walmart and get the large bottle and drink at least 10-12 ounces.... Give it 30 min's and your issue is solved. IT WORKS!!!!

Well, I did, it, took the plunge and got Banded by Dr. Hollis in Houston. There staff was very good and took very care of me, like a patient and not a number. Lost 4lbs on a week preopp diet and have 98 more to go now. Any pointers or suggestions would be awesome. Thanks.

Hello to all, I am a 33 year old married man with 4 kido's who has struggled with my weight for my entire life. I once lost a lot of weight, but had to do it with weight loss pills, over the counter fat burners and such... all the bad stuff you read about now. I went through a seminar with DR. Spiegel when i had insurance that would cover the cost, but since then i have changed jobs and will now be a self pay. I live in the Houston area and want to do this ASAP. I am 33, weigh in at 300lbs, 5'9" with a BMI of 43... yeah I know, wow! I have 12k in cash right now to spend as a self pay. Can anyone in the Houston, Tx area reccomend someone to me. When I did the seminar 4 years ago with Spiegel, his self pay price was 16k... I'm sure it has to have some down some, right? Thanks for your help and I hope soon I will be on the road to being the person I've always wanted to be.
