  1. I had surgery April 2008 and we started trying to get pregnant in October. The doctor said to wait a year, so I thought we could start trying and maybe be preggers towards my one year anniversary. Who new it would happen that very month. Took 6 months with my first. I am 30 weeks along now and have gained 20 lbs. I have had no problems wih the band at all. I have not restricted what I eat, it all seems to be going to the baby. With my first I put on 80 + lbs. The only difficulty I had was the vomitting with the band, that was a little hard. No swelling, NO HEARTBURN (yeah). At times I do get a little tight (usually at night), but no biggie. I have been to the lap surgeon a couple of times for him to see how things were, he was happy and told me to come back after the baby was born and I was ready to continue with my fillings.
