  1. :mad2:I am 9 days post-op and I'm having restriction issues too I think...it feels like something is logged in my chest! It's kinda going away. I was supposed to start full liquids, but something I ate must have been to think. So I went back to liquids for a while...any one else having this issue I had that. I'm 13 days post op and it is much better than it was. I was hospitalized for 5 days instead of the usual 1 day. My liver was large and it made the surgery more difficult. As a result I have much more internal swelling than most people. I feel like I have restriction even though that feeling is because of swelling. The stuck in your chest feeling is bad, somedays I wondered if I had made the right decision, but things are improving.
  2. Im 4 days post-op and having all kinds of trouble. My Dr says I have a great deal of internal swelling because of a large liver and spleen. The external brusing is really bad too .They released me from the hospital this morning after 4 days. I"m begining to think it was a mistake. I have lots of gas , which I can use gas x for, but then I have a constant gurgling in the back of my through that keeps me fromk sleeping. It gets so bad I feel the liquid will come up my nose, it actually caused me to throw up this morning. It was all flem. Doc says all will be better when the swelling subsides...not sure how long this will take. Has anyone else experienced this?
