Hi, I am on my 3rd day of the 5 day pouch diet. I am confused about days 3-5..... Do I eat only what is on the 3-5 day menu or can I ALSO eat days 1&2 like creamy Soups and/or Protein drinks? Thanks, SoonToBeLovely

Hi, I was "sleeved" in May 2009 and even though I still experience some pain if I eat too much, I am stil able to eat alot!!!! I wish that I could get my tummy tight again. I gained weight and I am really getting desperate.....again. Does anyone know if I can continue with the gastric by-pass procedure even though I have only about 50lbs to loose. If so, do you know if the surgery is any cheaper being the first phase, vertical sleeve, is already done? Thanks.

I cannot honestly say that I followed all the rules and I could definitely be doing better. But really bothers me is that I can eat so much and I am hungry all of the time. The exact 2 things that I was trying to eliminate by having surgery. I will challenge myself and try the 5 day pouch test - Thanks for that suggestion

I think alot of my stomach was left and I want to get re-sleeved or continue withthe gastric by-pass. Is this possible even though I only need to lose about 50lbs.?

My surgery is scheduled in Mexico on May 15th and I am not fearful. The only fear that I have is that my surgery will be delayed / cancelled due to the swine flu.

I am a little confused about when you get the 1st fill. Do you get a fill at time of surgery? Or is the band inserted only at time of surgery and your 1st fill is 4-6 weeks from surgery? Thanks, Crystal

Thanks Jachut, You really made my day!!! I kinda got discouraged when I read that I might only loose 50% of my excess weight. I didnt think that to be true as I know and read of others that lost much more, actually TOO much. I found that Dr. Rodgriguez in Juarez, Mexico will do the surgery at BMI 30. I am waiting for approval based on my specific medical entries. I am speaking with 3 referrals now that underwent surgery with Dr. Rodriguez and they have nothing but goods things to say. I feel really rejuevanated and feel like there is some hope now thanks to all of you guys. Crystal
