ok today was my last weight eval so my surgeon office submitted my info to United Health Care again. The doctors office states it shouldnt take more than 48hrs i am so tired of waiting theses have been the longest 6 months ever:rolleyes: its getting aggravating waiting.What do i suppose the next 2 days other than not go crazy:blush:

my only question is can you change ins if you can do it fast.I have UHC and they wanted 6 months they are up this month Sept 9th so im still waiting but if they trip then ill be changing ins its open enrollement with my job and ill go with AVMED they dont take u threw all of that

You no what I understand where you are coming from i did everything they required and then they stated i had to wait 6 months. I thought i would die but my 6 months is finally here sept 9th so hold on and fight for what is rightfully yours...I'll keep you in my prayers

I hope so that really gets to me we pay them so much money and if your not really a sick person never really go to the doctor and we have to go through loops to get our surgery approved i hope you get your approval and meet all the goals you set!!!Good luck

Why is it that when it rains it pouts ok so as far as the band i go for my last appt sept 09 ok but ok im trying to buy a house and yeah that can be good new but i have a few items i have to get removed which is fine so i have to work extra hours not to mention im a single mother with 2 kids but i have people that will help me but ok this is the big one my 2 kids attend private school one is 5 and is in kindergarden and the 3 year old is in pk 3 ok so i thought the 3yrs old would have had all the problems but she is adjusting to her new school and teacher and the 5 yr old is acting a fool but the strange thing is he is the loving one the sweet one he listens but when he goes to shool he to turn into a child i dont no what to do i have taken toys all kinds of solutions. i am so tired im like even though i have waited 6 months to get the band its seems to be the last thing on my mind. Band family i need your advice:confused:

Hey i had to wait 6 months and do weight mgmt and my last appt is sept the 9th do anyone no how long do "uhc" take to approve or deny you after you have done the 6mths you no i think ins just make you wait to see if you are gonna give up hell i have been overweight to long to give up now not to say i wasn't P*ssed :eek: when they told me! but I have my kids to live for so my Six months is finally coming to a end :wink:. well its states if you have the faith of a mustard seed and i think you have way more than that i no you will get heck we both will get it and look goood to keep me posted what are your goals i also have kids just 2 and i want to be able to do all the things they desire me to do and not get tired i pray for you and pray for me..Kamekr25

I am so happy for you my last weight appt is next month on the 9Th and i cant wait so keep me posted and tell us how it was what is your goal

well i submitted my info to the ins and they called me and told me i had to wait 6 months so last appt is sept 9th and my nurse with the ins told me as that is completed i will have my approval and on the 9th my doctor states were gonna see how long she take to submit the approval then i will no my surgery date. So i no how you feel to be waiting its killing me but i no it will be well worth it:)

I dont think you should tell no one till you are ready. I have been overweight for 6 years and i have all size friends and i havent told no one due to if they are not going through what you are then they really dont understand so until you are ready to open up those doors to everyone opinion then keep it closed my theory is "Your opinion is nor desired or required"...LMAO Stay encourage i find out my surgery date sept9 Good Luck

NO mam!!! I would have just died to have to wait 6 more months what ins you have. They are a mess how much did you lose. Im happy that you finally got banded good for YOU!!!!! What he has for us no man can take away!!!!!:smile:

I gained the weight back i lost due to being depressed but i figured if i cant stick with it now then im not gonna be able to stick with it then i have 2 kids that i have to live for if anyone had to weight for insurance reasons let me no your experience:frown:
