When I had a lapband pre-op I could not ewat anything, just protein shake for 2 weeks. I was told first 3-4 days is the hardest.

My friend and her 2 friends had surgery in Mexico as well. Their doctor has a surgical centre and you recover for 2 days in a rexovery house surrounded by registered nurses.

Let me reassure you. I came back from Mexico after plastic surgery and my garment caused me a rash. It spead and was itching so bad I wanted to tear my skin off. I went to emerg. First of all the doctir could nit believe how nice and thin and low the scar was after just 1 week post tt. Then I told him I had surgery in San Diego because my dr has san diego address. He didnt care. Just gave me perscription and went to next patient.

She knows what she is doing. I am a bit wider too but that is because she added some to thighs to smooth the lines if you know what I mean

Whatever you are worries about voice it to your dr. It will help

A lot of Doctors have a floor in a medical building or other building as a surgical clinic. Doctors here in Canada have same.

Last time I went there in November we just zipped through, no one stopped us. Ask the co-ordinator you are with and they will know. If you have not booked your surgery I can recommend someone.

When you are coming back you say medical reasons. They don't bug you. I was there twice for plastics as well.

I travelled after 2 weeks with TT and TL. I asked for wheelchair assistance and got roller around from the moment I got out of the car to my gate and then someone took me to the plane. I never had any issues! Thigh lift is no joke but with the right recovery guidance and proper care, its a walk in a park lol

So glad I found this post!!!. I had a lapband and now at 31 BMI and going to have a sleeve next year. I wondered how well ppl loose weight with lower BMI. How are you feeling? Did you sort out your health issue?

I had a thigh lift tt and arm lift. I had many procedures ar once because I did not need lipo because I had it a year before. Every dr is different.

No problem. Any other advise I can give you please contact me. Who will be your doctor? Where are you staying? Bring a large funnel so you can stand up to pee. Bring special wipes to clean that area and keep it as dry as you can. While you travel you will sweat so see if you can get up every few hours and do that. I received a special anti bacterial spray for that area from my doctor. You will have to pee standing up or squatting for at least first 2 weeks. Small price to pay for great results You will be fine.

Fist of all, I thing you should stay solid 2 weeks, 4 days makes a big difference. Secondly, get a seat in aisle so you can stand up if you need to. Also I just shifted my weight from side to side so I don't get stiff. You may also have drain, wear a bulky shirt to hide them under. Think positive, find ways to be creative, move slow. I also ordered a wheelchair, best thing I have ever done.

There is a weirdo on that site who says she hated Cardenas results after 2 days out of surgery then 4 months later she loved it. I read that and when I went to TJ with my friend for her sleeve, I saw Dr Cardenas assistant and asked her about it. She said this lady was back and forth with the procedure, one day she wanted next day she didnt. Finally on the day of her ride bailed on her. Fatimeh asked her if she still wanted it. She said yes and Fatimeh has arranged a ride for her that morning. The day after surgery she was already complaining about results and Fatimeh and Dr Cardenas told her that you have to wait 6 months for final results. I am totally in agreement with that. Aslo you have to eat healthy and exercise or results will be sabotaged. Guess what...I am an emotional eater and ate too much. Now I am paying the price. We have to listen to our doctors for the most part.
