So with band I don't get feeling of fullness, I just get tight, do you get satisfied with sleeve?

I am trying to get my dr to take it out, i was self pay. I will see, maybe I will have it unfilled to begin with. I want to heal it before I convert. Anyone else? My history is band 4 years ago, fill defill and filled at 2 cc and i am not having any luck, I lost 20 pounds

I was reading a YouTube by a dr saying that because lapband stretches esophagus and pouch he does not recommend to do removal of the band and sleeve in one surgery and that weight loss is poor if they are done together. Any thoughts,

Wow congrats. I was told by one dr that going from band to sleeve is lower weight liss success due to possibility if scar tissue and stretched pouch

depends what you want, if you want tt, lipo and breasts, some doctors wont do them together, some will. i can help you with research when time comes, i have been researching for over 6 years

All well doctors do complete body makeover, some are better then others, some will do more in one setting then others. My doctor would only do lipo all over and tt in one setting then other surgeries in another setting. My local doctor would not even lipo more then one area where is Dr Cardenas did the whole bosy and removed 10 litres at once!!!

Since I have done lots of research, be aware when websites claim things. They have American Surgical Logo but let me assure you that American Surgeons association is not going to recommend out of country doctors. Also doctors pay for advertisement so there may be only drs they represent. Also I can guarantee that every country has a lot more doctors that are great and are not having their own website and I have personally met a few. Just info for you

You know the saying "Dorothy u are not in Kansas any more". Not to be roud but things in Mexico are not same so u can't expect same. If you go to Mexico u need to realize that things are different. Here in Canada my lapband Doctor also goes in to do other surgeries and procedures at the hospital but has a private lapband clinic with bariatric surgeon. Also general dr can have a few specialties. My local plastic surgeon specializes in hand surgery And cleft pallet but does great boobs

Just to clarify Bariatric surgeons have to be General Surgeons first, then they specialize in others. I don't know about Dr Garcia so I can;t say but the doctor I am going to has General Surgeon Degree, Laparoscopic degree and Bariatric Surgery Degree. He has a General Surgeon in a room with him as an assistant to perform the surgery.
