  1. Hi All, You are all doing so great!! I was banded on March 4th, am a little more than 2 months post op, and have only lost 20 lbs!! I lost the 20lbs in my first 2 wks and have not really lost any real weight since then. Its making me very concerned, because I'm eating less and working out. I'm getting my 2nd fill on May 26th, so hopefully this will help me continue to lose weight. You are all doing so well! Keep up the good work!! =)
  2. Hi Boykin, I am having a similar problem. I was banded in March 2009, lost 20 lbs in the 1st 2 weeks, which was liquids, and have lost nothing ever since. I had a 2cc fill 2 weeks ago, but still feel little restriction. However, even with the diet I'm currently going through, I'm wondering how I am not losing weight!! Does anyone have suggestions??
  3. That's normal, it will start peeling off by itself. He should be happy its coming off =)
  4. You're not the only one, I just had my 1st fill last week, and although I feel some restriction, I feel like I can eat more and more each day. My weight went down right after surgery (March 4th), I've lost 18 pounds in the 1st 2 weeks, but since then I have lost nothing, and I'm 6 weeks out of surgery now! I think we just need to keep exercising, drinking water, protein, etc. Be patient, you're still doing pretty good. And I'm sure your next fill will also help out a lot. Good luck =)
