  1. I had my first "slime" today. GROSS!!! I forgot I was banded for a minute and did not chew enough. What is wrong with me?
  2. Well, i had my first fill today. It was quick and painless. They put in 1.5 cc. It was really cool to watch. I am on clear liquids for 24 hours, full liquids for three days, and mushy three days after that. Then, I will be on regular food. :clap2:
  3. I was told six weeks.
  4. I have my first fill 9/13. So, it will be five weeks for me.
  5. I have my first fill 9/13. I am a little nervous.
  6. Hey, I received my gift!!!! :clap2: :clap2: Thank you Elizabeth! She gave me an assortment of Bath & Body Works lotions, a beautiful silver pen and pencil, and cool shaped post-it notes. Thanks so much
  7. Hey, I have not received my gift either.
  8. It has been one of my favs for that last 7 years! I love Janelle too. I hope she wins. I liked her last years as well. I voted everyday to pick the All Stars.

  12. You are very welcome Tribon!
  13. I am having the hardest time eating slowly. Is anyone else having this problem. I have to remember to count. I find it easier when I am with others.
  14. Hey!!! I'm in Texas. Mine went out to Indiana last Friday. Is it there yet?
  15. Speaking of cravings... I have been thinking none stop about fried pickles from Razzoo's.(They are to die for) I have also been wanting bacon. The thing is I have been a vegetarian for 18 years. What is up with that?
  16. Sweet Carolina, congrats for the weight loss. :clap2: You will not have restriction until you get a fill. You should not drink the sprite. It is the carbonation that is bad for the band. Did you get a diet list from your Dr? I was told not to eat salad for two months after surgery. I know every Dr is different thought. If hamburger is allowed by your Dr, then it is OK. :hungry: Please remember you are still healing, even though you feel better. So take it easy.
  17. I agree with lapBandit, you should call your Dr. I was banded a day after you and have not had that problem at all. I hope everything is OK. Have fun next week back at school.
  18. Good job Diva Girl. What does NSV stand for?
  19. Thanks guys for all your responses. I can not wait to go!
  20. Does anyone camp? If so can you eat s’mores? They are my favorite part of camping. We are planning a trip for the end of September. I will be on regular food by then. :hungry: And I will want one ore two.
  21. I can not wait to be able to make these dishes! They sound so good. Thanks
  22. I was banded on the 8th. I about 95% normal. My only complaint is the gas. Bubble, bubble, bubble I have not really had any pain. It just felt like I did a million sit ups. I have not tried to sleep on my side yet. I move slow just to be cautious. I don't want to hurt my band. Does anyone know when we can pick up heavy things? The strangest thing, is that I am not hungry and have to force myself to eat. I know this will not last, but it is a first for me.
  23. Congrats on the weight loss! Some people are negative and only want to spread it to others. keep up the good work.
  24. well I am home! It was not so bad. I have a little gas. The incision sites feels a little achy. I am still under the influence of Lortab. :huggie: Everyone at Vista Hospital were so nice and my anesthesiologist was hot:kiss2: I was most nervous about going under. But, it was fine. I wanted to let the soon to be banded know it will be OK.
