  1. I totally understand how you feel my surgery date is May 11th.
  2. Wow how exciting is that! 90 lbs and lots of sizes.... I am so excited for you. I am going to be banded 5/11 and I can not wait to be able to say that I am going shopping for some "Cute" Jeans. That is what I am looking forward to.
  3. I did my Physc Evaluation at the end of January and then did a 4 hour pre-op class with a nutrisiontist which is required by my Dr. and then I got lucky because my insurance does not require preautorization for outpatient surgeries. Then because my GI doctor doesn't give a letter of approval I had to meet with the dr and that took about a month to get in. I am in California and my Dr is Coirin. They told me for approval from insurance though would take 1 to 2 weeks. The hard part was getting all the information to them.
  4. I totally understand where you are at. I started the process last August and I finally have a surgery date of May 11th. I can not wait. It seems like it has taken a really long time to get here.

That is very exciting that people could see a difference and that your clothes are too big. That is a great start
  6. It is great to know there are other people out there that are going through the same thing I am.
  7. Hi I have been going through this process since August 2008 and finally will be banded on May 8th. I have all of the different feelings excited, nervous and scared. Hopefully this time next year it will be a whole new me!
