So I have been trying to get the lapband for over 2 years now. The first time it didnt work out because my insurance changed, which was terrible. I now have an insurance that covers it, and am so happy. PS. Will I have to sit through another seminar, because I am in a different state with a different doctor?

Hello, I'm Jean from Massachusetts. I am excited to begin this journey again. I was on this journey two years ago, but because of bad insurance and timing I was unable to get the band, now I'm back and hopefully this time it will all work out. I just want it to happen so bad.

I am a poor college student, on a very strange health plan called "Consolidated Health Plans". It says it doesn't cover weight management of any kind, but it never states that it doesn't cover WLS. If it doesn't cover WLS, is there a loophole. I have generalized anxiety disorder, and a few other things (co-morbidities) that are traced back to being overweight. The health plan offers treatment for these, but can the treatment be WLS? Please and Thank Yous - Jean
