  1. I had the same problem and took ibuprofen to help the swelling. It seemed to work. Also warm liquids.
  2. I had the same experience. On thursday I had another 1cc put in and I could drink water fine when I left, but when I got home that evening I couldn't drink water or anything. I went back on friday and he took out .5 cc and now the band is working great! Before this last .5, I could eat a couple cups, but now I stay full longer and am satisfied with much smaller meals. My doctor is pretty aggressive with the fills, I can go back every week and get a fill if I want too.
  3. DianaG, thanks for the info on what your doctor told you. I'm having the same problem as Jessica. I had surgery January 15th and since then have had problems. When I do go, it's so painful that it makes me sick. Stool softeners help a little, but I'm going to follow what DianaG's doctor told her and see if it works for me. I have a doctor's appointment on Friday, I'll ask him about it too.
  4. I'm looking forward to having good restriction. I've had two fills in the past two weeks and am having another one this week. Hopefully this will be the one! Because yesterday I was starving all day....
  5. If you go to lapband.com and register, there are a bunch of tools.
  6. I just got banded by Dr. Singh on January 15th, 2010. I think he is great. He's quirky in a good way and seems to really care. Also, my incisions were much smaller than most of the pictures I've seen.
