I'm from NWIndiana and I am due to be banded in Mexico on June 26! I felt kind of alone too!

I am considering Dr. G. Sanchez Vidrio in Tijuana, Mexico. I haven't seen his name on this site at all. I researched a bunch and I am getting nervous about not seeing his name mentioned!

I noticed some postings on another site by one lady who was uncomfortable with the doctor that she went to in the US for her fills because he was very negative about her choice to have surgery in Mexico. Has anyone experienced this? Are they all so negative on Mexico? I have a doctors in my area (NWIndiana) and would prefer not to have to travel to Mexico for such a quick procedure.:confused:

I hope my research was thorough enough. Personally I am 36 years old, married for 13 years, and I have 5 boys that keep me very busy. I have been looking into weight loss surgery for years and finally decided to go for it. I have been over 250 lbs for 20 years and am now around 285 (no scale at home!).
