  1. Hi everyone.. I had my first fill back on 5/14 and honestly i felt the restriction that day and the day after, but after that i felt just like i did prior to my fill..HUNGRY! I had 4cc's put in and i go for my second fill on 6/8..not sure how much they will put in but i hope its enough to feel restriction for a while...I heard that for some people it takes 4+ fills to feel anything...so we will see..i will keep everyone posted!!
  2. Thanks 4 all the Luv:wub:! Everyone keep up the good work and we will all meet our goals one day soon!!!:crying:
  3. Thanks! Its funny u say that depending on the time of the month the band may be tighter or looser because there are days when i feel really hungry and can eat alot and then there are days where i take 2-4 bites of something and im done. I guess i will just have to get used to it. I cant wait for my fill on 6/8. Im hoping i feel something different
  4. Ok so i hit 60lbs lost last Friday !! I was banded on 3/25/09..This was such a big accomplishment to me. For once in my life i really feel like with the band i can really reach my weightloss goal! I had my first fill on 5/14 and felt good restriction that day and the day after, but the 3rd day i was back to feeling no restriction and hungry:w00t:..Is this normal? Is the restriction feeling supposed to go away that fast? Please Help

I have friends tell me they feel it in their chest? Im confused, i dont drink to much for fear of getting full,i dont want my pouch to stretch, but sometimes im still hungry when i have eaten 3 hrs prior...Is this normal? does anyone else feel like this! Advice is welcome:rolleyes2:!!!
  9. Hi Sam I know exactly what ur talking about and feeling. Mentally ur hungry and physically ur not! and it doesnt help with every commercial on TV being about food!!! But we can overcome this small obsticle:smile2: I think as ur able to introduce solid foods back into ur diet it wont be as bad! I had a friend who told me prior to me getting banded on 3/25 that everytime she looked at a billboard w/food on it she would burst out into tear:cryin:! I hope its not that extreme for u, but as time goes on i think we will be able to controll what our minds are thinking:rolleyes2: Good Luck!!!
  10. I have lost 38lbs according to my scale and my post op visit isnt until 4/8--banded 3/25! Im excited..this was the whole point of the surgery...Let ur band do what its supposed to do for u! develop a good relationship with ur Dr. and communitcate how u r feeling to him/her. They r there to help. Keep the lbs coming off and keep up the Great Work :scared2:
  11. Hi All I was banded on 3/25 and im recovering very well i must say:tongue:! I have almost little to no pain where the port area is, and although the scale was my worst enemy:cursing: prior to surgery, its my best friend now because i have been loosing weight at a rapid pace..I know this will slow down as time goes on, but im very happy with my decision to do this:thumbup: Mentally im hungry, physically im not..its annoying at times. Does anyones else feel that way!
