  1. I was banded on 2-27-09. i have lost a total of 44.6 pounds including the pre-op diet. My first fill was on 5-5-09 and I have had trouble since then. The night of the surgery, I vomited several times and my husband said I gurgled in my sleep. I have not felt right since then. I do better when I take super small sips and tiny bites. I am worried that my band has slipped. Any body have any suggestions or ideas? Patches
  2. Hello James, My name is Patches and I will be 32 on Friday. before I had surgery, I was 5'7" and 315. I had the LB on 2-27-09 and it was the best decision I have ever made and would do it 50x over. To date, including pre-opt diet, I have lost 39 pounds . I am so excited and enjoy weighing in weekly. The surgery is not a magic bullet, but it was my life saver. You have to have a certain amount of will power or you will be in for failure. Hope this helps. God Bless you in the future.
  3. Do you mind posting some of those ways?

  6. That is a really great weight loss. I am too worried that I will stretch my pouch so I am very careful of the portion size. I eat about every 3-4 hours a day. It has been kind of a struggle to wait and drink an hour before and after eating, but it is getting better.
  7. hello all Febbanders, I am having a problem with my mind wanting to eat, but my stomach doesn't really care if I eat or not. My stomach has only growled a few time, but nothing major. Saw the doctor yesterday and I'm down 30 pounds including the pre- diet. He didn't schedule a fill, and says it is up to me and told me to go back when i get hungry and hour after meals. I am pushing the Protein hard. Good luck everyone.
