  1. Only Tina has permission to yank my chain and she will inspect it when she gets back from Brooklyn. The big hole in the US blood supply is the blood coming in from the drug neighborhoods. A guy told me, “those addicts will do anything for money” and I replied “and those blood banks will do anything for a profit”. When blood bank vampires know that the guy is a druggie and he is using different names to beat the system, they give the blood seller less than the normal amount of money and pocket the difference. That way, everyone makes out accept the people who need blood. Capitalism at work.
  2. What makes you think that addicts go around as couples?
  3. Time to go to Bed?
  4. But we need to protect them from programs like this.
  5. Then screen welfare applicants better.
  6. I watched South Park the other night and they were given Kenny money to eat things. Being dirt poor he ate anything. He was being belittled. The people who run this program are so full of their own self-worth that they belittle the weakest among us while claiming to be helping the babies. Help people into drug programs. Don't sterilize them. I wonder how many of the people posting here have ever lived in a drug infested neighborhood. I lived for a brief while on the block with the highest murder rate in the whole country, and it was 99% drug related. Yes, drugs are a scourge on our communities, but this attempt at eugenics (under a guise of a humanitarian effort) is just another attempt at showing superiority. We need to do something about the problems that brings drugs into the lives of our youth. It is hopelessness and pain that causes most addiction in the poor neighborhoods. It the middle-class neighborhood, it is the materialism of the parents who are keeping up with the Jones working two jobs, but never showing true love to their children because there is not enough time, that causes addiction. You do not help people my mutilating their bodies and then going home and patting yourself on the back saying I saved a baby today. That is not much different from blowing up a “Planned Parenthood Center” and then going home and patting yourself on the back saying I saved a baby today.
  7. I do and the government does and the blood banks are supposed to have a problem with that.
  8. A Man is too macho to have his manhood played with. He'll say he will do it and then smack the guy in the head and take the $300 and run.
  9. We talked about this after church today. I said to my minister that when I was a child, I went to my grandparent's Pentecostal church quite often and they were the among the first to welcome minorities and to help the poor. Today's Christian leadership is pro-war, pro-death penalty, pro-big business, pro-government. That is not the Pentecostal church that I was raised in.
  10. And castrating Black men would also lower the crime rate. In fact, castrating every man in the country would lower the crime rate.
  11. When God comes down from Heaven and says, "I want these words in every school and courthouse" then that will be fine. But when the US government says it or the government of the state of Florida says it, that is a different story. I trust God. I do not trust either the US government or the government of the state of Florida or the government of any other state. After 5 years when the US government or the government of any state says, "We are going to change a couple of words here and there in these commandments. We put them up, so we can change them." Then what do you do? That is why I and many ministers and Bishops do not want the 10 Commandments or any other religious documents in public schools or courthouses.
  12. Probably talking about me.:help:
  13. The first one you are correct, but in your statement you had two things and I meant one of them. You said nothing about Mexico vs USA in your original statement. The PCP not treating people below 18 or above 65 might very well be medically related. Under 18's react different to treatment than adults (big study out last week on drugs not being tested on children) and people over 65 are loaded with medical problems. I said might. BUT, when the reason has nothing to do with medicine, like a doctor saying I will not treat you because you are a Republican or an Hispanic or because I don't believe in birth control, even though I work for a firm that does believe in birth control and stocks birth control pills, then that is over the line.
  14. Most of the other advanced industrialized countries disagree with that notion regarding medical care. It is a macho USA phenomena.
  15. Are you referring to me? I never said anything to the contrary and in fact agree with that.
  16. Of course it is a race issue. Who do you think the predominantly poor drug users are? The white drug users on Wall Street don't need $300, nor do the Movie Stars. It will not be only minorities, but it will be disproportionately minorities as compared to the actual ratio of white to minority addicts.
  17. In the case of the book about Romney, I will go along with your argument (except no one I know, ever heard of the book), and I will say it is wrong to hold a man's religion against him which I already said in a previous post in this thread. In the case of the General. no one was being bigoted against him, but people complained that they did not want to hear his bigotry. Even he admitted, that he should not have said it as a General. Have you ever heard the expression, "You salute the uniform, not the man wearing it"? By saying what he said as a United States General, it is like saying that the United States says whatever he said. He was speaking for himself (and admitted it later), but when he said it as General Pace, it became a matter of government policy, which it is not and he has no right to make. And this is not your thread. It is a thread on LBT.
  18. There is nothing wrong with the 10 commandments if you believe that you want to control your life with them. But no one has a right to impose the 10 commandments on anyone else. Putting them in schools and courthouses would impose the religious beliefs of some people on other people. Only 2 of the 10 commandments are laws in most states. And that is only because they effect someone other than the person violating the commandment.
  19. I pledge not to vote for Bill Clinton for president in 2008. Can you pledge not to vote for the adulterers running as Republicans?:faint:
  20. Who is lashing him? Not a very powerful God, is he? At least you obviously do not think so. There was no need for the bloodshed. It was desensitizing and revolting. It didn't highlight the love Jesus had for us. Tina and I sat in the front row and our popcorn got drenched with blood.
  21. Maybe because I put out better stuff than you? All kidding aside, I didn't say the article was BS, just the totally non-relevant and inaccurate part about "Liberals still sympathizing with those who harbored Communist sympathies half a century ago". Most of the Liberals alive today were not even around when Senator Joseph McCarthy was trying to destroy Democracy in the USA with his version of "You are either with us or against us".
  22. Are writing about "Passion of the Christ"? That was a snuff film; an excuse to show gratuitous violence and should have been rated XXX. Pornography!!!
  23. Very few Blacks are Black. Most are mixed with white, American Indian, or a myriad of other groups. It is white people that decide that if you are not all white, you must be Black. In many states when I was born, if a person had 15 white great-great-grandparents and one Black great-great-grandparant, that person was Black. In some states, if a person had 7 white great-grandparents and one Black great-grandparant, that person was Black. And in some states, if a person had 3 white grandparents and one Black grandparant, that person was Black. I found out about this because in most of the Southern States, it was against the law for a white man to box with a Black man, but the Black man's race would change from state to state depending on which one of the rules that state followed. So people got into the habit of calling anyone not 100% white as snow: Black.
