Being overweight also effects your hormones that can cause you to not be interested in sex not to mention moving is exhausting. Once the weight comes off (even just 30 and 40 pounds) you feel more sexy. You can only feel my port if you are specifically feeling around for it. It just blends in with my muscles.

I only lost 5 lbs in the first 6 weeks. Your doing great hang in there it takes time to get restriction.

I would rather eat dirt! I tried them a few years ago and I could hardly get past the smell.....just yuck

I have restriction and no way in hell could I eat a 6" subway sub. I would be able to get the meat but that would be about it.

Ashley, I'm a military wife too. I think its HUGE that your husband is gone and you have NOT gained. Walk and eat better but don't give up on the band (even if it takes 5 more fills). I have had good restriction now for about 6 weeks and I know now this is how it was meant to be. Tell your surgeon the issues with no restriction. Cathy

What size band do you have and how much do you have in it? I was banded 3/9/09 I have a 14cc band with a 10cc fill only now do I have restriction.

Maybe you could have that Mexican surgeon smack some sense into your fat head. Oh and see if he can finish your SRS Best of luck Cathy

get fit Are you still feeling the restriction? Im at 8 in a 14 band and Im not feeling it yet. I will have a 1cc fill on the 18th.

Jodi Your going to make your goal weight within one year...WOW!! You have done great! I got my band on 3/9/09 hope I will do as well as you have. I will be living in sterling in April.
