  1. Will you be at Chapman Medical Center? It is a SMALL hospital/center and looked a bit old and outdated. There was hardly anyone there... but the nurses were great and I got more attention than I had when I had a baby at LB Memorial!
  2. I was banded on Thursday too (about 1:30). I got to stay the night which was good. I am having trouble getting all of the liquids in as I am full and have the gas pains all over the abdomen. How are you doing with that?
  3. Help, Hang on tight for the liquid prep. I was on it for 2 weeks (3 protein shakes and 2 protein bars - provided by my doctor). After the first 3 days - I really wasn't hungry and I can't believe it went by so quickly. I just kept busy busy busy and drank the 2 quarts of water. Cali, I am going to the N.E.W. Program in Newport Beach - Dr. Quebbeman. The surgery will be performed at Chapman Medical Center which is where I believe Dr. Oliak is located.
  4. Me too! My surgery is at 1:00 so by this time tomorrow I will be in (out of) recovery and it will be done!!! I hadn't heard of the GAS X strips but I think I am on my way now to the pharmacy.
  5. First time posting (surgery is TOMORROW!). I am ready to jump in (well I already have after that 2 week liquid protein/bar diet). I have found my forum.... April Bandsters.
