Hello Everyone, It has taken me a year to decide to get banded. I finally told my doctor my plans and she is super supportive but dragged her heels on all of my paperwork and as I'm researching more myself I'm finding she hasn't even paid attention to the pre-op requirements (BCBS) I need a psyche eval and a pre/post nutrition appointment, etc. So any advice? I am 3 months into my 6 month medically supervised diet with this doc but I'm worried that she's not doing much work and I'm not sure I know how to file the paperwork my insurance is claiming she should be filing... HELP

Obama's new plan for COBRA will reduce the premium by 65% for laid off workers. I was laid off in January but am on COBRA and still hopeful that I will be banded sometime this summer. It may not be as bad as you think!
