  1. hi i had my first fill 6 weeks after surgery. ive had 4 fills so far. im just starting to feel restriction now but i can eat anything i dont have problems with any foods i dont know if thats normal. ive read on here that people have trouble with certain foods or they throw up and have trouble keeping food down not me. iv never had that problem. i wonder sometimes why that is i dont know. i go back for another fill in 2 weeks time. anyway good luck
  2. hi when i had my op i had the same pain its normal. also after a week and a half i got this really severe pain on my left side it was like when you get a stitch from running i was worried and rang the doctor who said it was normal. i was banded in june and i sometimes i still get pain but its only minor. this op was the best thing i ever did so no complaints from me.
  3. hi everyone. i was banded on the 10 june and up untill 2 weeks ago i was feeling really down i had not lost or gained for 8 weeks. i wasnt feeling that happy about not losing. so i think maybe its just a part of the process. ive lost 3 kilos since then so im feeling better now.

  8. wow planet65 i cant believe you went back to work so soon im thinking of asking for another week off. so that will be a total of 4 weeks off. i was banded on the 10 june as well im now 9 days post op and i dont have any gas or pain except this very bad pain on my left side of my waist. im sleeping ok now. i was in hospital with another girl we had our op on the same day and we have stayed in touch i was talking to her today and she still has a lot of gas pain but she isnt moving around and walking much were im doing housework, cooking and driving kids to school and im always walking. so i agree i think the more walking you do the better
