  1. Hi! My gastric sleeve surgery is coming up August 23! I can’t wait. Good luck to you
  2. I need to see if there is a post-surgery thread for vegetarian or vegan recipes
  3. These look awesome! Can you share the recipe?
  4. I’m most looking forward to: being able to keep up with my 2.5 yr old grandson. not have to keep buying bigger clothes having my energy back again being able to buy off-the-rack clothes in single digit sizes not being ashamed of how I look having more confidence being able to get around better cause the extra weight won’t tax my MS body as much
  5. Hi, I am scheduled August 23, 2021 for gastric sleeve surgery. I’m both scared and excited! I had Lap Band surgery in 2009 and lost 80lbs. I felt great and I loved the way I looked. A few months back I had the Lap Band removed and over the past several years I’ve put on 50lbs between not going to the gym during COVID-19 and the extra weight makes it difficult to get around. However I was just reading the thread on what you are looking forward to most after your surgery and I must say I was very encouraged by what I read!
  6. Hi, this is my first time on this site. I hope these forums will help me through my new journey but until I can get a feel for the different topics I do have one question. I was banded on January 30, 2009 so 4 weeks tomorrow. I lost, starting from the first day of my 5-day liquid pre-op diet, until last week a total of 15 lbs. However this week I haven't lost anything and have been hovering around the same 2 lbs but still haven't lost any more weight since last week. Can this be typical for the first few weeks post-op? I have my next appt. with my surgeon on 3/12 and I assume I might get my first fill then. I just don't want to get discouraged.
