  1. I am in Saint Louis too. I have not been to the support group but there is one every other wednesday at depaul. their phone number is 3446800. also, if you want to call me anytime, let me know and i'll give you my #.
  2. I too was banded 3/6/9! How did it go for you? It was a lot better than I thought it would be. Hope you had the same good experience that I did!!! :crying:
  3. 30 pounds in 3 months is outstanding! My only advise would be, write down everything you eat. Sometimes there are a couple of things that slide by if they are not written down! Outstanding work!
  4. My doctor said 3 1/2 cup meals. But I know what you mean. I'm starved. It stinks. I am going to try my hardest to stick to a half cup, but we'll see. Less than 800 is probably a lot less than what you had before, so I would say that is still good...

So, I got banded on Friday. Everything went super smooth and I haven't even had to use my pain medication except for 2 times. The hardest part for me is being hungry. Seems like life revolves around food sometimes. Then, my mom asks if she can eat in front of me, like people are not going to eat in front of me ALL THE TIME! I might as well get used to it. I just have some pain in my left stomache, but the hardest thing is finding the control that I didn't have before. And the gas. That sucks to. Anyway, this is my first blog ever, so I guess that's enough.
