I just lived 3 weeks w/ throwing up several times a day...went yesterday to dr. And he took out a tiny bit of fluid and i ate my first meal in 3 weeks yummy... While i was tooo tight i was making bad food choices b/c that was all that would stay down.. Now i'm back on track and loving life now that im not crabby& hungry anymore!!!!!!

hi i was banded on 6-8-09 and my port has also flipped... dr did do my first 2 fills under xray.. i go in for my revision in oct and he will also fill at the same time.. i have a total of 5cc in the lapband... feeling restriction esp when i do not chew well (ouch)... good luck to everyone and i will post after i get my port revision...

i went for my first fill yesterday and same thing happened to me... dr could not do fill in office we had to meet at the hosp. and do a fill under the xray... allwent good except my port has flipped on it's side... dr. wants to go back in port site and sew it down with just a local... he said it onlyh happens about 5 patients a year.. lucky me should of played the lottery..... lol

congrats on your surgery date... surgery is such a breeze compared to the one week diet prior.. if you can make it though that the rest is smooth sailing.. if you plan on going to st.alexius hosp. the staff is amazing.. good luck with your up coming surgery... it is soooooo worth the wait..

Hello!!!! I am being banded on june 8th in st.louis by dr.wagner... Can't wait.. Does anyone's dr. Do the 2 incision surgery vs. The 5 incision surgery??? Something new dr.wagner is performing.. Have you heard of this??? Can't wait till june!!!!!

Hi, dr.wagner is set to do my lapban surgery in early june... I am sooooo stoked to get my approval on 5-14-09 (just 3 days prior to my 30th b-day)... What a wonderful birthday gift. Who could ask for a better birthday gift than a new start to life...dr.wagner is great and very educational...the staff at the office alway has a warm smile and ready to answer any questions you may have.... Great dr. And office staff....

hi im 29 and have 2 children. 6 weeks after delivering my second i got mirena and i absolutly love it.. i do not have to worry about a period and my insurance covered everything except $20 copay.. it was def. cheaper for me than the pill... i would reccomend it to everyone!!!

Has anyone in st.louis/il have cmr ins.??? I have a list of qualifications. How picky were they about the 6 month exercize and diet plan??
