  1. You will be fine!! It is a process and you just have to be patient and let it happen. It took me five fills to get to my sweet spot but now I am there and the weight is falling off. Hang in there! Debbie
  2. Thanks to all for clearing that up for me.
  3. It took me five fills to get restriction but everyone is different. It was very frustrating for a while but once you have restriction it is a lot easier. Good Luck to you. Debbie
  4. I didn't want to appear dumb and ask this questions but since I relaize I am not the only one who doesn't these things, I will. What does the term PBing mean? Thanks, Debbie Banded: 01/15/09 - 234 Weight: 05/14/09 - 201
  5. I was banded on January 15, 2009. Last Friday, April 17th, I had my fifth fill. I am finally "restricted". It is so great when it finally happens but you have to remember that it is a process. I was really getting discouraged and was dieting as well as I could and now it is way easier so just hang in there. You really need to do what your doctor says and know that you will get there eventually. Good Luck to you, Debbie
  6. I had my surgery January 15th and have had 4 fills and I am still not tight enough. Just try to hang in there and don't get discouraged. It will happen, they just have to get you at the right fill point. Good Luck and keep us posted. Debbie
  7. Hi! I am 6 weeks post lap band surgery. Sort of had a difficult time as my boyfriend of 22 years died unexpectedly four days after the surgery. I just got tightened for the second time last Thursday and it is now Tuesday and I can eat just about anything I want. Have an appointment next Tuesday for another fill. Getting a little discouraged as I have paid $8,000.00 and didn't expect it to be a "quick fix" but didn't think I would have to diet like I have for 30 years. Anyway, I am hoping that after next Tuesday things will improve. Have a nice day.
