  1. Well, I had my test last night. I assume everything went well since they never woke me up to put on the mask. I went to bed around 10:30, they came in around 5 and took everything off and sent me home. I assume that is good. Brent
  2. Good for you, it will go by fast.
  3. How many people tested positive for sleep apnea? I have my overnight in a couple of days and was just wondering.
  4. dude dont worry about it. 13 days out we could take a dump and drop 6 pounds! But if they gave you a strict diet for 7 days out, you need to follow that to a tee!!
  5. I am only to suppose to do high protein low fats/sugar for a 7 days prior then 4 days prior do clear liquid only. Not bad. I dont know if that means 3 days high protein then 4 liquids only or what but I will start 11 days out.
  6. Hey fellas I am getting banded oct 21st. Is it just me or are the quote unquoute ideal weights way way off? I am 6'2 330. I would say a medium build. And the charts say I need to weigh 177! Which means I need to lose 153 pounds! If I weigh less than 220 I would look sick. I would really like to be 230 to 240. How did you guys set your "goal" weight? Off what the "charts" say or what you think is best for your body type? Thanks. Brent
  7. Yes, keep you appointment. You did lose some weight. They are compassionate people or they would not be doing what they do. They will understand.
  8. Is anyone here getting the realize band? I know this is the lapbandtalk website but it is the best message board as far as I am concerned. Anyway, I am getting the realize band next month and was wondering if anyone else here is too.
  9. Oct. 21st. Just found out today!!
  10. I just got off the phone with my Doctors office. I went to the seminar Sept 11th. And have my surgery set for Oct. 21th.
  11. How do I put a picutre of myself under my name? Thanks. Brent
  12. Amen!! As a firefighter, it really hits home.
  13. Good for you!! I am in the same boat. Once, I made up my mind to do it, and got my family on board. It feels great! I had my intake appointment this moring. This kind of sounds wierd but I was glad to hear that my insurance is non-paying. Luckily we are financially blessed and selfpay will not be a problem. So, that will speed things up.
  14. I went to the seminar today and got my intake appointment set for tomorrow at 10am!! I am just figuring on being self pay so that should speed things up! I am so pumped Brent
  15. I have been here a long time but this is my first post. I am attending my first seminar tomorrow afternoon!! I am so ready to get this thing going. My wife is totally behind me and we had the talk with my parents tonight. They were surprisingly supportive. That makes me feel so much better. In fact they both want to go to the seminar with us tomorrow. Anyway, I will keep everyone updated with my progress!!! Brent in Tulsa
