I know this is redundant on this site, but I am terrified!! I feel like cancelling this surgery...this is my 3rd time around as some of you know and Im scared of the surgery, and of failure...this is my last hope, I did do well with the band, until it prolapsed and then gained 40 lbs back...but the sleeve did not work for me, so is the 3rd time a charm....Oh God I hope so...I just want to start living my life again...Im not a spring chicken anymore, I will be 57 in Nov...The surgery itself scares the crap out of me, but the though of failing again is just as scary.....Im suppose to be eating my last solid food this morn..for weeks and I dont have an appetite...Ha...isnt that ironic.... Sorry for the complaining, I am just really really scared...

Omg...I take paxil too and I know the brain zaps very well, I didnt know there was an issue with absorptiion with meds although it makes sense. I am having surgery thursday, now Im worried about this...dont the doc;s know this can happen and adjust accordingly??

can we swallow pills post op, my iron are not chewable, i got the sublingual b 12...my calcium and multi are chewable...its just the iron...

Oh no, the PA just told me I can never EVER, take NSAIDS again...really..??? I have terrible arthritis all over my body, just had a bone taken out of my hand ....she said not even one ever..but my other drs told me to take 800 mgs of ibuprophen every 6 hrs every day to keep the inflammation down...The PA said i can take celebrix as needed with a PPI...Please if anyone else is facing this issue please tell me what your doing to manage it....I am really worried about this...ty
