Lap Band done in Tijuana (June 17th 2009)-- Need fill Dr. in or close to Edmonton Alberta Canada

I had my surgery done in Mexico -- so I would not be accepted by the same Dr's that do the fills for the Ontario patients

I have to be on clear fluid for a whole week !! I never imagined it would be this hard 9 especially cooking for my family -- smelling the food -- serving the food -- then cleaning up the food -- I feel like my dog -- begging to lick the dishes lol

I know the feeling -- I keep a licorice baby on a plate near the refridgerator -- when I have a craving I lick it. But I too am only 5 days post op and feel like a bear out of hibernation. If anyone has ideas pleeeease share !!! PS -- WHere do you get those ticker lines (Shows your progress) I want one too :-)

What is Dr. Mitchell Like ? (Calgary) That is my bigest fear -- Having the Lapband in Mexico and not finding anyone to fill it here.

I tried to call Dr. Daviduk (St. Albert) he is nolonger at that clinic His new # is 780-470-3825 The receptionist at his old clinic says that unless things have changed -- he only did fills for Dr. Cobourn.

Help -- I need this procedure badly And I don't know where to turn. I live in Edmonton Alberta. I would like to find a place to do the surgery as close to home as possible, but looking for a decent price also. a winnipeg manitoba clinic said I was not heavy enough (BMI of 33.5 :biggrin:.) I feel heavy -- I look heavy -- and my clothes are huge, shouldn't that be enough ? Any ideas ?

Hi everyone !!!! Considering the lap Band Procedure. Has anyone found it for under $7000 US ?
