  1. I can't believe how much we have in common! I have a 4 year old son and a 2 year old daughter. I had c-sections with both and have been banded 16 days. I did have pain at the port sight for about 2 weeks. When you feel down you have to think that while you might not be 100% for the kiddos now, the choice you made in having this surgery is going to give those babies the best mommy they can have! Email me anytime or if you want my number send an email and I can give you that. Take care and hang in there!!
  2. You guys have gotten me so excited! I am about 2 weeks banded and can't wait to post my own success story! I have gotten rid of one pair of fat pants and can't wait to have to buy new! Great job everyone!
  3. I can't speak for having a HH repaired. The gas pains in my neck and shoulder lasted about 10 days. Oi had some pain at the incision where the port sits for about the same amount of time. Hope this helps. I was just banded on 1/28/10.
  4. Banded 1/28/10 I had 10 days of pain.I also had it in my neck too. But now I am 2 weeks out and doing well. What an adventure we have started for ourselves! Good luck to everyone!!
  5. Hi everyone! I was banded on 1/28/10. I went for me two week post op appt and it went well. I have lost 13 lbs and they were really happy with that. They said that it was an above average weight loss. I am very excited about my first fill on 3/10, its so great sharing with people from my same surgery time. Keep up the good work!!
  6. Definately the shake!! If you eat it within an hour of working out you burn much more calories! I agree with the fruit. Another good thing would be cottage cheese or a cheese stick.
  7. I am only 10 days out but my Dr lifts all excercise restrictions at the two week checkup if all is going well.
  8. I was banded 1/28 and am feeling all of that. My shoulder pain just went away today (day 10)I know I am niot getting the water in that I should be but it is hard to. I am glad to hear I'm not alone.
  9. Hi! I was just banded on 1/28 so my advice may not come with my own experience but from others. I have 3 support people who have been thru it. They all tell me that if something is stuck you will know it. It is immediate and you will either have the feeling that it is sitting there and u need to get it down or you will be sick and throw it up. Hope this helps! Take care.
  10. I'm sorry to hear all of you have the shoulder pain but happy to know that it is normal mine comes and goes too. My one week is tomorrow!!
  11. Goodluck! I was banded last thursday morning and am so happy with it. You will be too!!
