  1. Called UHC, little confusing????

    my UHC coverage kicks in Feb 2nd due to Hubby's contractor change at work. I am PRAYING UHC-PPO will cover the surgery with no problems. At the moment we have highmark bc/bs out of PA and it is nothing but a headache!!! I am waiting till Feb 2nd to call UHC for details! Thanks.

    New here. Praying our NEW insurance effective Feb 2nd will pay for gastric surgery. I live in Houston and have attended seminars for Dr's Spivak and Spiegel. Previous insurance would not approve surgery. I am PRAYING that United Health Care does! I'm wondering if with lap band surgery would I lose all the weight i need to lose? Need to drop 130 pounds. I see a lot of folks losing 50-75-80 pounds. Glad to be here. and still praying for coverage!
