  1. Ooooo.....definately hugs. Tough to give one without getting one back. Leather or suede?
  2. White. Salmon or Cod?
  3. Ocean. Picnic or Dine out?
  4. Woo-hoo....Hot Stuff. Great job, you look fantastic.
  5. Definately sunroof. Wait...how many birds will be flying around. Hot tub or sauna?
  6. I think you need to do what is best for you. Poo-poo to people who think we took the easy way out. We have been through as much blood, sweat and tears as they have. And you know the old saying.....opinions are like a**holes.....everybody has them and they are probably pretty stinky. So keep your chin up and remember we are here for you. Big hug.
  7. We are all here for you. If you have any questions.....just ask.
  8. costco. Cruise to the Caribbean or condo in Hawaii?
  9. FANTASTIC!! YOU ARE A SUPERSTAR!! :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:
  10. Mommyrkr.... I was banded in April, not August. And I am more than happy to share my experiences if they help shed light on issues for other bandsters.
  11. Fantastic....keep it up skinny.
  12. Ooo....I will have to get some of those. Thanks for sharing
  13. As long as you can chew stuff to mush on the left side, you should be ok. Bigger pieces of food will get stuck. Not fun.
  14. Becki....I was banded April 28, 2006. I didn't have a long term condition, they hit all of the sudden. I never saw the stones when they did pass. It was really weird...I was driving from errands with my son (around 2 in the afternoon) and I felt overwhelmed with cramps and nausea. My first thought was that it was a wicked period. But the nausea kept getting worse. I went home and tried to lay down and kept feeling worse. I couldn't sip water because I would throw it up. Finally around 9:30, we called 911. I was losing sensation in my arms because I was hyper-ventilating and was in extreme pain (reminded me of labor) that nothing I took would help. They ended up passing on their own once I had an IV and dilodid (sp). The pain killer helped me relax and the fluid from the IV flushed them out. No fun.
  15. I had kidney stones about a month after my surgery. From what I have been told that it is caused by dehydration. That would make complete sense to me. For the first 2 weeks after surgery, I was lucky if I could get water down. I went to the ER for my kidney stones. No fun. I am one of the biggest water advocates you will ever meet. Did you have your 64 ounces today?
  16. My surgeon also told me to let them fall off on their own. Imagine my surprise at my first follow up when the doc pulled one off himself. That really suprised the bejeebers out of me. I guess they just want us to be sure that our boo-boos have closed up.
  17. I will have to try the roll without the rice. Prior to my recent fill, I could eat 4 pieces of a California roll. I am sooooooo tight right now and I am even nervous about trying a piece of sushi without rice. Maybe in a couple of days. I miss my California rolls already...sniffle.
  18. I'm in too. One quick question....does running around with twelve 11 year old kids for 2 hours count? We had a birthday party on Saturday (tag, egg toss and trampoline) and all I know is I was exhausted when we were done.
  19. I too, feel Jack's words of wisdom should be in a book. Thanks for being on LBT Jack. We always love to hear from you.
  20. I am up to my fourth fill. I have a 4cc band and I am filled to 4.25 (the doc says he can go up to about 5cc in a 4cc band). I am finally feeling restriction. I was pretty impatient for a while too. Best wishes.
