I had the Realize Band implanted on the 10th as well. I am doing well however I will b glad when I can chew again. Can't wait til Saturday. Good Luck

Congrats to u I had the surgery on the 10th of April. So I am right behind u and I know ur struggles. Good Kuck and keep up the good work. I am so so jealous cause my Dr. will not allow me to have pudding yet I have a few more days

I have to agree with the other readers. I have not had the band yet (3/27/09) and at a pre surgery seminar I was told by the nutritionist that you need to take a multi-vitamin daily as well as calcium and BIOTIN. This will prevent hair lost. I have a short cut and was not too worried about the hair lost, however my girl friend has long hair and she asked that question because the same thing happened to her when she was pregnant. So get these items and you should be okay, and if not call your doctor. GOOD LUCK!!!

I agree with restless monkey, we oftern try to find solutions to things we think might be a problem and they end up not being a problem at all. Tell the truth, hopefully he will be supportive and if not drop him before he get the GOODS!!!!!!

I haven't been banded yet (date March 27, 2009) however I now have to research a name for my band. Thanks, this might work well for me.

Hi AshleyB, I too just received noticed that my Band is scheduled for March 27. My girlfriend and I are going to do it together. This is a journey that should be shared with someone else so what a better way. Pretty soon we will be sharing meals at restaurants and not being upset at who got the larger meal.
