  1. I feel your frustration. I lost 35 lbs before surgery. Had surgery on Feb 6th and only lost 6 since and that was when I was still on liquids. I feel that I am in a plateau and need advice on how to break it. The last time I went to see the Dr. and had my first fill, they said that I had gained 2 lbs but had lost fat mass. That sounds good but I want the scale to reflect my efforts. My support system says not to get upset about it that I am doing great but...............Frustrating.
  2. I am 2 1/2 weeks post op. Only lost 2 lbs since surgery and can eat almost anything I want. Just have to eat slow and chew. I learn lessons the hard way. Got stuck last night and couldnt eat a meal that I was looking forward to because I didn't chew. I called my Dr. about the fact that I am not loosing and he said that my body is hoarding all the energy to heal so weight loss will be minimal till I heal completely. I lost 40lbs prior to surgery and that makes this frustrating but loosing even two pounds is a possitive direction.
