Hello... i was banded on july 30th.. fill on sept 21 let me know how your fills goes... plz... i havent lost anymore weight either.. waiting on fill thanks

I actually had my surgery on July 30 by Dr Groves, had a 2 week follow up appt and sept 9 is my post op appt ( i guess) i have lost 22 pounds and only 4 since my 2 week follow up.. I am R E A D Y to stat losing.... any advice... should i be losing weight during this time? Thanks

I lived i Atlanta before and it an adjustment for me as well. I have been here 10 years and I am still not used to it.! A friend of mine used Facundus in huntsville. She had gastric bypass but didnt have good things to say .... There are a few other Drs listed on this site in Huntsville... I think Malipar...but not good things are said . I really hope Dr. John Groves can help you..! you have come so far. u cant stop now... I hope this helps you... let me know........

try Dr. John Groves on Wall Sreet in Albertville, Al He actually has an office in Madison I think. He and his partner Dr. Britt have offices at Marshall North, Marshall southin boaz and I hear they have office in madison which cant be that far from you. Dr. John Groves as actually had the Lap Band surgery himself.. so he understands us. My first impression of him was very good. Understanding and he realizes how we feel. Not someone judging you ! Good Luck and let us know how this turns out for you.... And agreed- Podunk!!!! especialy where I am at !

i was reading your description of where you said you lived and I say the very same thing.. PODUNK and looked at your city and it is HUNTSVILLE!! I live about 40 minutes from there. I am from another state and Alabama is definitely Podunk. !!! How far is Albertville or Boaz from you?
