  1. My banding is scheduled for this Monday, the 15th. My BMI is about 51. I was so happy to find this thread and see how well everyone is doing. It is truly encouraging. I will keep you all posted about my recovery. God Bless!:kiss2:

  5. :help: Monday, the 15th, is my banding day. Took care of the rest of my pre-op stuff yesterday. Now I just have to get through work today and tomorrow and then Sunday is Clear liquids and bowel prep. (Happy Mother's Day to me, right?!) I would appreciate any positive vibes you can send my way. I have never had surgery before and I am starting to stress! TIA!
  6. Rachael, I am sorry to hear this news. I can imagine how frustrated you must be. I wonder if this surgery can be postponed if you have no symptoms, the fibroids are benign and you don't plan on having children soon. May be time to ask around or get a 2nd opinion. Hope things work out well for you!
