Hi- I am new to this board. I was banded 11/24/08 in TJ by Dr. Ortiz. I had my first fill about 3 weeks ago in St Pete. I am doing well but am struggling with learning to chew a zillion times! Would love to join a group of local folks. sue in Apopka

Hi all- I live in Apopka, just north of Orlando. I was banded on Nov 24, 2008 by Dr. Ortiz at the OCC in TJ. I had my first fill on Jan 19 in St Pete with Kathy Gonzales. At the time I couldn't find anyone closer. Now I don't care if there is anyone closer; she is AMAZING! Would love to be part of a support group. sue

Hi- I want in too! I was banded by Dr. Ortiz in TJ on Nov. 24, 2008 -- the Monday before Thanksgiving!! I am 62 and have not been overweight, I have been fat my entire life. I have taken off 100+ lbs. twice before. This time things have to be different. I am high school teacher and an adjunct professor at a local college so when I am not at work, I am grading papers! I live outside of Orlando. sue:thumbup:

I had my first fill three weeks ago in St Pete with Kathy Gonzales. She works through Fill Centers USA. She is absolutely amazing and does use flouro. I will have no qualms about driving from Orlando to St Pete and taking a day off from work to get to Kathy. I highly recommend her. sue:thumbup:
