Tammy: Thank you so much. The main thing i can tell you is just enjoy your new life and do remeber to chew chew chew. I stay away from chicken with skin on it because it is easy to get stuck. The exercise i do is play baasketball, walk , and my treadmill. I'm manily doing the treadmil because here in Texas the summer's are extremely hot. You are doing great also. I eat alot of oatmeal in the a.m. and for lunch youqurt and wheat thins, some meat but only the size odf a deck of cards. I do eat alot of vegetables. I stay away from any fried foods. I wish you all the luck in the world just stay focus and you will do great. Also i go into the chat roomanytime you want to chat just give me a message i will be glad to chat with you anytime. Judy

2nd Fill Tomorrow...Gaining
tara: my first fill worked for about 3 weeks and i started to get hungry more and wanting to eat more. The way they exolain it to me is it is like filling up something empty and it just takes time to fill it up. I know that isn't much help but everyone is different we all have our different sweet spots. I will go for my second fill on wednesday i haven't lost as much as the first it is going slow but i do go up and down too. Just hang in there we will reach out sweet spot and the weight will come off. I do walk on the treadmill and takes walks and play basketball. look how far you have come so far that is an accomplishment in it its self. way to go .

the journey so far:
I'm so thankful that the journey to being healthier and better fit for life started in December of 2008. Had surgery set for January the 17th both me and hubby. Did the surgery came out with flying colors. Had first fill on the 25th of February and the second to be done on the 25th of March. This is one surgery that i truly wished that I would of done a long time ago. It is such a blessing to be able to breathe better and able to walk across the room without being winded from the walk and have to set down. Your whole attitude changes and all. From december to now have lost a total of 50 pounds. Which is so awesome and can't wait for the next fifty to come off. I say to anyone reading this if you haven't done the lapband you need to do it.
