  1. I have unjury powder in chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla. I mix them with skim milk. My doctor's office suggested mixing them with double strength milk - which is skim milk mixed with nonfat milk powder. Altogether, the shake with the unjury powder and double strength milk has 18 grams of protein for every 4 ounces. It tastes creamier too.
  2. I'm home too! I had horrible gas pains last night and really could not sit down - I just kept pacing for hours. Finally at 2:30 AM I was able to sit down and I slept for almost 4 hours sitting on the couch. I am feeling much better now. I was told to take in at least 50 ounces of fluid per day - I think it is going to be really hard to do. I have a 10 oz cup and it just never seems to get empty.
  3. I'm definitely scared too. I am especially scared of feeling nauseated when I wake up from surgery. I know they will give me medicine for it, but I still am worried about it. If I wake up and do not feel sick, I will be the happiest person alive!
  4. I have to stay the night as well. I am planning to take 2 weeks off of work - My post-op visit will be on day 10.
  5. I am being banded on the 19th. I have my pre-op testing tomorrow and my medical clearance on Thursday. I started the liver reduction diet on the 5th. I am also nervous and excited!
  6. My surgery is scheduled for 1/19 in Buffalo, NY. I started the pre-op liver reduction diet on 1/5. It has been okay so far - but I have been getting headaches towards the end of the day. I'm hoping they will stop after a couple of days without real food.
