What was your most recent NSV? (non-scale victory)
I texted a picture of me skeetshooting to my sister and her family. My niece said I should send a picture of me. I said that is me. They didn't even recognize me. That was the best NSV.

don't worry bout being "stuck" you're still losing inches! (insert mad face)
You can't always get what you want. . We all hate stalls but you have to expect them and keep on going.

Feeing like a failure
I don't mean to offend you, but I don't think you can be a failure if you haven't even tried. It sounds like you expected the surgery to be a magic cure. You have to follow the plan. Are you tracking what you eat? Try using an app like MyFitnessPal. Are you going to support group meetings? It is not to late to start using your tool. I would go on a liquid protein diet reset and then start following your plan. You can do this!

Six Month Update
Thanks! Not big ones. I do take an iron pill and even that feels big going down. I think I am still pretty tight where my band used to be. I am also bad at remembering to take them. The patch is easier to remember as I get dressed.

Six Month Update
It seems like it does. My doctor said it was from the shock to my system from surgery and liquid diet. It takes 3 months because of hair cycle. I can swallow pills but not big ones like vitamins. I can't stomach the chewables. The patch is also easier to remember. I put them on while dressing. Good luck on your journey. I have no regrets except that I wish I did it sooner.

Six Month Update
Yes! I have so much more energy now. I love it! Seems like 3 months is the magic number for the hair loss. It felt like it would never stop. I was so happy that it finally did.

Six Month Update
Today marks 6 months since my revision surgery (4/30/15). -> I am down 72lbs -> I am currently losing between 8 and 10lbs a month. I am happy with that! -> I am still seeing a personal trainer and feel great! -> food is still not exciting. That is a good thing. -> My hair started falling out in clumps around 3 months post op. It finally stopped a week or so ago. I am now waiting to see new growth. -> I went on two vacations and came home lighter from both. That never happened with the band. -> I started getting frequent heartburn a month ago. This was fixed with OTC 24 hr Nexium. -> Had trouble with chewable Vitamins. I started using Patches from PatchMD. I get my bloodwork done next week so I will see if they are working. -> Still loving my sleeve. Just wish I did it sooner! I have attached a picture. First pic is pre band, middle is pre sleeve and last is current. I still have a long way to go but feel like I will finally get there!

Get your protein from your food. Try PatchMD for vitamins.- Hair Loss
Mine started coming out in clumps at 3 months out. It has finally stopped and I'll be six months this week. My hair is super thin compared to before surgery but no bald spots. I cut it much shorter to help with body. I am hoping I will start to see new growth again soon.- Ok second stall ???? need help please!
I found added carbs is a good thing. My personal trainer was trying to convince me and I was stubborn like you. Then I finally listened and it worked! Go figure!- Heartburn
I hope that is not the case for you. I had horrible reflux with my band. That is gone now. I don't know if I was headed back there with all the heartburn. So far I do feel better with the Nexium. I will talk to my surgeon at my six month check up. I hope yours gets better and no new surgery is needed.- Heartburn
Took my first 24 hour Nexium last night and I already feel so much better. Thanks again for advice!- Heartburn
Thanks all! I will be picking up some Nexium today!- Heartburn
I am almost six months post op and have recently been getting a lot of heartburn. It doesn't seem to matter what I eat, just eating anything in general will bring it on. Does anyone else have this issue? Is it ok to take Nexium or something like that?- To Those Who Have a Funny Bone
