  4. Hi, my surgery to remove my band and perform the sleeve was Feb 20. I have lost 46 lbs and is happy with the results so far. I like the slow weight loss because the skin is recovering nicely (no saggy skin). I am almost out of the 200s and can`t wait to get into the 100s. I have had no issues with the sleeve. 10. I am approaching my one year mark and I have only lost 35 lb. I have had two fills and have 6 cc in my band. Some days I can eat alot and some days I can't. I met with a dietician and she explained I am not eating enough of the right food. My calorie intake was good but I was still eating too much fat. I am struggling but I feel great. I am down a size & a half, I look better, Sex is better, my energy level is better, my knees don't hurt, I don't snore anymore, I can wear a regular size underwear, ..... I can go on and on thinking about what a differnce 35 lbs made to my life. I am working on my diet and working out more. It will take time to get my act together. I have learn to love myself and take baby steps to improve myself. I will lose the 100 pounds I need to lose. I take one day at a time and try to enjoy every minute. Don't be so hard on yourself. Keep trying different things until you find what works for you and your life. Good Luck

  12. Hi Gaye I have not been able to make my fill appoinments. I am planning to get one this month. it's totally my fault, but I am proud of myself for still losing and not gaining any weight. There are some foods that down go down well and I avoid them (such as french fries, crackers, dry bread, etc). I make sure I eat three meals and snacks.
  13. I am having the same issue. I talking to the dietican at the dr. office and she told me I was not eating enough food to lose weight. When I add more fruits and veggies to my diet I the scale moves. I think I am doing good for someone who has had only one fill. People look at me and thinks I lost alot of weight. I am happy with the results and will keep working the band. Congrats to everyone who aare losing.
  14. I will do 50 miles this month. I have a treadmil, a stationary bike and Wii fit. It is my first challenge and I hope to exceed my goal. Good Luck everyone!

  17. I am one month out of surgery and have lost 13 lbs. I have good restriction and no side effects. I eat anything I want, just smaller potions. I go out to eat with friends and politely smile when someone notices how much I don’t eat. I am enjoying how I feel and am not chained to food. I don't want a fill if it is going to change how good things are now.
