  1. I have to agree: Walk, Walk, Walk. It hurt the first few days after my surgery, but it really does help you recover quicker. You need to be careful to find the balance, and not over exert yourself. Take it slow and take breaks if you need to. You will know when it's time to rest... don't ignore the signals. Liquid Tylenol Extra Relief worked great for my pain. I was off of vicodin w/n 2 days after surgery. Most important is to remain positive! Stress and worry can cause you to heal slower. I am not just saying that... I studied it in Nursing school. Good Luck to you!
